Hi, Meet Jeff Morris...

I'm a Native Southern Californian and have spent most of my life in Encinitas. I've been married for 25 years and have 3 wonderful children. All were born and raised in Encinitas and have attended St. Johns Catholic School, Oakcrest Middle School, and La Costa Canyon High School. My two older oldest are in college and one graduates this May.

I graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Agricultural Business Marketing, then landed my first job in La Jolla as a stockbroker. I'm an entrepreneur and owned a cosmetic marketing and custom furniture business. By the time I was 27, I bought my first home on Hygeia in Encinitas. I was a top producer at Chase Bank & GMAC Mortgage. By the time I was in my 40's, I semi-retired so I could spend more time with my children.

I have a life time of philanthropic experience. As a teen I ran local surf contests for Long Beach kids. In the early 2000's I joined a "Save Swamis" group to protect the iconic surf spot. I've always given to the less fortunate because I know what it's like to not have anything. The last several years I have made saving Encinitas my top priority and dropped everything so I can dedicate all of my time to protecting our beautiful town.

As a lifelong surfer who loves the ocean and Encinitas, I've become one the most vocal community "Pro-Encinitas" activist in town. There's been a lot of poor decisions by this council. This is not acceptable. I formed a group called Encinitas Watchdog to fight back against our Council & special interests. I refuse to continue to allow outsiders to harm Encinitas, so I decided to run for Mayor of Encinitas. When I win this election I will protect & preserve Encinitas with all of my heart so future generations can also enjoy our paradise.

I was quietly excited to find out that we out produced all of the other candidates for the first round of financials.

8/1/2022: MAYOR SUGGESTS RESIDENTS SHOULD "NOT" BE INVOLVED IN DECISION IN ENCINITAS.

Our Mayor stating that "thought leaders," that politicians and nonprofits should have "all" of the say in our community, not just "some" of the say. This is the principle that our City Council currently adheres to.

7/20/2022: Do Encinitas Nonprofits Have The Right To Attack And Silence Residents?

Many Encinitas nonprofits are FAR LEFT EXTREMIST GROUPS disguised as charities. Their #1 purpose is to take over our town, shut our voices down, and then attack us when we speak up. The are NGO's, or Non Governmental Organizations, who are working with our local & state government to rid Encinitas of "Democracy." Yes, since 2019, Encinitas has operated as a Dictatorship, not a Democracy or Republic. They've made one unilateral decision after the next and are obliterating our once lovely community.

7/27/2022: THE ONES THAT HATE YOU THE MOST THAT BELIEVE IN YOUR POWER THE MOST. OUR CITY COUNCIL, THEIR CROOKED NONPROFITS BUDDIES, HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO DESTROY ME. WHY? BECAUSE I AM THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS TOWN WITH THE BALLS TO STAND UP TO THESE CROOKS.

There is no other person in this town, no other candidate, that has compared to my work. Over the last 3 years I have exposed more corruption and have created more awareness, then any person / entity in Encinitas. I put in the work while Cindy Cremona's team rode my coattails.

3/24/2022: MY FIRST TIME SPEAKING AT A BIG PUBLIC EVENT OVER 100 PEOPLE. THIS WAS THE FIRST DEBATE AND WAS HOSTED BY THE AMERICAN LEGION.

I begin discussing how our City Council has sacrificed our quality of life, safety, to enrich their special interest and pursue their political careers; almost as if we don't exist anymore.

May 12, 2022 - Kellie Hinze Falsely Accusing Me Of Assault. She Lied. That's Her Legacy.

The Encinitas City Council uses dirty tactics, false threats, lies, so they can scare, intimidate, and control freedom of speech. Encinitas has become Blakespear's guinea pig for her Senate run and she operates under dictatorship philosophies. Sounds crazy, right? Nearly 100% of her decisions are made by her with 0 residential input. City Council meetings are nothing more that "optics," to give the appearance of Democracy. You have no voice Encinitas.

Encinitas governing has quietly shifted to a Socialist / Marxist style. The Mayor is NOT allowed to tell me or anybody to follow her fake "code of conduct." This is the "resident's time" to speak and it's not to be censored. Obviously we can't do anything we want, but we can discuss whatever we want so long as we aren't threatening anybody. This is the "NEW" form of governing that Blakespear & Kranz want to instill in Encinitas.

My opponent loses sight on why we are running for office. We're supposed to be on the same side. For some irrational reason, her crew had chosen to attack me as if I am the enemy. If we don't fix this and get on the "same" page, we will ultimately hand this election to Tony.
